Well you cannot force any bonsai tree to become fatter around (increase in circumference). All bonsai that are properly cared for will increase in circumference naturally as they age. You can keep trimming your bonsai to shrink the leaves and to visually make the trunk thinker in appearance. Fertilizers will also speed up the growth process but do not over fertilize.
