Are Gensing and Ginseng the same thing or are they two different spellings of the same things?

Are Ginseng and Gensing two separate plants that have different effects? Or is one a wrong spelling or something? Living in Queensland Australia, how can I grow them, should they be prepared in any way before I consume them?|||It's just different spelling. Also used is "Genseng".

The word translates roughly to "man root". Ginseng is difficult to cultivate, but it likes rich, black soils and cooler weather conditions. The fresh roots can be readily consumed, made into tincture via alcohol extraction, or it can be dried, powdered and used to make infusions or encapsulated and taked orally. It has a normalizing effect on most bodily systems and is generally considered safe to use unless you have a heart condition or some type of anxiety disorder.
