What are the bad side effects of Korean ginseng?

I am planning to give Korean ginseng to my parents as a gift. However, I am hesitant if this would interfere with their medications, then it would only be wasted. It's quite expensive. :P|||my mom and dad buy korean ginseng and eat it every month. it's expensive but it is for a reason. my dad told me that wild ginseng can make you live forever and by hearing that i'd assume that it has virtually no negative side effects. also my dad takes medicine to lower his cholesterol and the ginseng doesn't create any problems to him and both my parents are healthy as an ox. if you give it to them, i'm sure they'd be really happy and will gladly take it.
